Located within 5 minutes of St Albans train station, this change of use project will see an 8 storey office block built in the 60s converted into over 125 residential apartments. Although appearing reliability straight forward from a design point of view, there were some major hurdles to overcome on a project where the design was always being adapted. Originally the building would be retaining the glass facade, half way through the project this aspect changed to a brick clad facade vastly improving the aesthetics of the building for residential use. Prospero Project were employed to carry out the Mechanical and Electrical design on this project which is due for completion in early 2017.
