The Hallam Street project consisted of turning an 8 storey commercial premises into 6 high end luxury flats for the rental market. Complications presented themselves on this project due to the lack of available external space for service penetrations, an existing building littered with structural beams and columns along with having a pub located on the ground floor remaining in operation during the construction phase. The clever use of coffer lighting along with strategically placed bulkheads allowed us to keep the overall floor to ceiling height throughout a vast majority of the scheme.
